Can I really fold a flush here? - Page 2 - Live Low-stakes No Limit Poker Forum

This is one misconception that i see a few players make on 2+2. This is a 1/3 Live game, the average player is not looking to use blockers to bluff or make optimal plays using bet sizing. A lot are just plain feel players who either want you to fold or call based on their "bets".

It was the minor of my majority points. I believe H's hand is face up at the end of the flop. What hands are making a pot sized raise that aren't flushes? Maybe KK or AcAx, both of which are being heavily discounted here since H didn't raise pre, and KK is blocked by V. I admit I am assuming here that while H might 3bet light, she doesn't spew it off post flop. BLuff or not, V is not putting us on the Ac or Qc because you are never folding there as H, and clearly his bet is trying to get you to fold.

This is a really gross spot. Our 2 outs give us an additional 4.5% chance of winning if behind (and that is to scoop too), so I think this might be one of the rare times those two outs push this to a call for me. But I hate it.

Yeah, I'm with Mike here. You can't just disregard the main pot because the SB shoved pre. You can't assume it's 100% dead money. With the way the hand's playing out at this point it's likely that at least 70-80% of it can be calculated in the pot odds.

I didn't edit anything. He must've edited his post AFTER I quoted him. He edited his post 4 mins after I quoted him. He even put a smiley face so I think he was making a joke. At least I hope so.

Well we have to beat both players for the main not just one so i don't think you can just put 100% of it in your denomination either. He could asly have the naked AQorJ
