Live game Canterbury park 2-100 spread limit game. Hero tag (reg most of the table has played with me) have not played but maybe 1 or 2 hands in several hours. Villain also tag. (Only other tight player at the table ) played with him several times. Solid winning player. Never really see him get out of line.
Hero stack 300 in big blind. Villain stack 150 in middle position. 2 callers in front of him after my pre raise
It gets limped all the way around 7 ways and sb calls. $18 in the pot. I have AA in the big blind. I make it 12 and it gets called by 6 and no re-raise anywhere. Let me make a comment about the size of my bet here. I know i probably should have bet more here, but I was trying to make a bet that would get called by 1 or 2. Not have everyone fold or have everyone call. Based on my table image. I am pretty sure that if I bet 20 or more they all fold.
Flop comes 982 rainbow. I bet 50 into 75 and it folds around to villain and he says max raise (100 on top of my 50) this actually put him all in as he had something like 135 left.
What do you do here? This is like 85 call for a 250 pot. Giving me roughly 3-1 pot odds. I guess it comes down to "am I good here 1 out of 4 times" right.
I don't really know how to do this, but I think the way to figure this out is to guess what hands he would play this way, put them into an equity calculator and see if I have enough equity to call.
I don't think this player would shove like that on a draw so if true that leaves 98, 22, 88, 99 or maybe 1010. I am almost certain he would have re-raised pre with jj or higher.
Thoughts. ...

Raise bigger preflop. It's ok if everyone folds. You collect dead money. But on the flop your SPR against villain is 2 so just bet/call with your overpair

A9 K9 Q9 J9 T9 ?? You gotta call but not loving it. If he has 98 you got a bunch of outs also.
