Umm this is never a fold at this stack depth unless you just have some insane soul read on how he plays his whole range on this flop and even that can change. Like how are you ever gonna know he only shoves TT and not 22 on this flop ... they're pretty much the same hand strength in this spot. Not to mention all other hands you crush.
Maaaybe you can fold bottom set vs a super-nit if you've played him for a lot of hours and know their raising ranges are sets+ post flop.

I'm going to try and clarify a few things here.....
Villan is what I would say is terra-post-flop and bankroll nit, he will not commit this amount of cash without the goods.....I have played at-least ten sessions with him, and have probably 35hrs against him.....
He is the sort of player that moans when the aggro fish come to the table because he hates the varience....
He is never slow playing kk or aa here....never never never, he is the type to jam them pre-flop into no money because he doesn't want to get outdrawn......
I'm not sure he calls my pre-flop raise with 22 tbh which means it's even less likely he turns up with 22.... I'm not convinced he does this with 9t, but maybe I guess, but again it would only be the suited variety due to pre-flop action.....
All of this leaves me with a much higher chance he has tt than anything else.....
Against any normal player, or indeed player pool this is simple, but on closer inspection what exactly do we beat here....
It is a fallacy of those saying this is a pointless question and you have to go broke..... That is refusing to look at the clear picture villan has painted....I think 22 in this spot is a clear fold, why is it such a strange question to ask if middle set can be folded when villan doesn't have much bottom set in his range, which has narrowed to pretty much tt and 9ts......
