Is calling Open Raises preflop really profitable?

Lately I've been reflecting a bit on my game.
I've been losing a lot of money by calling open raises with hands like 88, KQs, KJs, ATs,...etc.
Either flops are **** and/or open raisers are quite sticky and I am losing quite a lot of money by calling open raises.
My question is:
Do you really think calling open raises is EV+?
I personally am starting to think that the best way to enter a flop is if we are the last aggressor.

This is another question that is way to general to make a decent thread.
Generally, most of the hands you list are trouble hands and not good candidates for calling ORs at most stack depths against most Vs. 88 and KQs are often exceptions, as they tend to play well multi-way, but like most of the threads you've been starting lately, the answer is "it depends."
Please stop starting these very general threads ITF.
