I'm interested in knowing if I'm against a bet (not all-in) on the flop, should i use the odds and outs for 2cards to come or the odds and outs for 1 card to come? I know obviously when facing and all-in situation on the flop that one will be using the odds with 2 cards to come to calculate and compare your odds of hitting your hand to the pot odds. Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

No one answer here. You have to evaluate how likely you are to face a bet on the turn. If V is a BTN and raises pre flop and makes a smallish flop c-bet, you're less likely to face a turn barrel than if someone check-raised for half their stack on the flop, where you can assume they're likely shoving turn.

Yep, you have consider both here. You have to consider how likely it is that villain continues on turn, what stack sizes are and how likely it is that villain pays you off if you hit. If you not heads up you need to consider action from other villains both on flop and turn. Possible redraws and better draws also need to be considered in some situations.

If this was simple math then poker would have been solved by now.
