I was dealt pocket 10s in late position at a live 10-handed 2/5 game (with a $1,300 stack).

UTG limped (with a $1100 stack), and a loose player raised in mid-position (with a $2,000 stack) to $25, his standard raise. The next player, also loose, and with a $1,000 stack, min-raised to $50--and I called. (Normally I would raise or fold in that spot, but I wanted to play post-flop against these two weak, loose, players--and I did not expect any more raises).

Unfortunately, the UTG now raised to $200, the first loose player folded, and the second loose player called. I called--expecting decent odds to set-mine.

The flop was 9, 5, 3 rainbow. The UTG bet $600, the second player folded. I tanked and eventually folded. Should I have made that call (or, better yet, just pushed for his last $300)? He could easily have A-K in that spot, but also JJs+. I think I need to win 37% of the time (900/2430).

Why do you give tendencies/descriptions of every player except the one your playing against?

In general this is rarely a bluff especially if UTG is competent and realizes that there are two LAGs in mid/late position who will raise pots for him.

Limp-4bet =aa

Seen it before. There needs to be a dynamics that will make utg think both MP players are Messing around way too often and even then he might still just call with most of bis limping range.

So fold pf

Sorry for omitting my assessment of the UTG player. He was new to me, but seemed like a competent regular player. He could make moves as I saw him squeeze a couple of times earlier. He (and I expect the rest of the table) probably viewed the two loose players as I did--and he probably understood I was trying to play a lot of hands with those two. In the above hand, he limped quietly, which might be suspicious. And, as I tanked on his bet on the flop, he said "if you have pocket 9s, you should call."

Any merit in 3betting the minraise of $50? I think I would 3-bet just to isolate the "loose" player.. Something like $135... Thoughts?

As played, this is a fold pre and a fold OTF.

3-betting to $150 in position against a loose player who is messing around with a min-raise would have been my preference. Once limper then limp 4-bets, you truly know you're beat and you can lay it down. But if the limper doesn't do that, you're ahead of the loose Vs' ranges and you'll have position. I think your instinct to 3-bet was right.

Ummm wouldn't that be a cold 4-bet?

That's going to be scary to play post flop on most flops.

As played, fold OTF, if he's gonna limp 4-bet utg and lead 600 into 4 ways with AK air and get folds then wow.
