Button TAG Hero 730ish- Hasn't really shown down many winners but has been raising in pos and taking pots down earlier on in the session. Recently havent been able to do too much because I have been card dead and LAG villain being on my left hasnt exactly made it easy.

SB LAG Drunk Asian 730ish- in the game for 1kish- Earlier in the session villain acknowledge me as being tight. Has 3! my ep opens a couple times to 2.5xish and I have folded each time. Has opened 35cc in ep and bet 2 streets for a psb heads up on the AJJQr and got villain who called to fold and showed. Has had a lot of wine and is pretty talkative and has knocked over his neighbors beer by mistake.

2 300ish stacks who limp often limp in HJ and CO. Hero has JcJs and raises to 30 otb, SB drunk asian lag 3! to 100 and quiets down, limpers fold and hero calls. Flop QQ5cc. Villain shoves.

Should we be calling here? What else, if anything should we be calling it of with?

HH for villain I forgot to include:

before this spot occurred, this hand happened:

a couple LP limps, villain raises to 40 in the bb, one passive lp limper calls, flop was QQ8r and villain bet a psb otf, and then shoved on a 7 turn ott and got snapped by Q9 by LP limper which was good. I think villain said he had AK. Effective stacks were about 450ish that hand.

I'd call here just because he's drunk and trying to bully everyone around. If he had a Queen would he be shoving? probably not. Sounds like he has AK again.

Call. He could easily think TT is the nuts as you'd 4! AA/KK pre. Shoving any value hand >JJ is extremely unusual here.

Such a ****ty hand to post. Probably shouldn't have thrown it up here. I think the biggest problem was I wasn't focused into the gameflow. My biggest problem as played with what I had was trying to decide between conflicting reads. On one hand villain was pretty laggy and drunk but at the same time villains 3! Sizing plus the silence raised some red flags. I ended up calling and villain said good call.

Immediately after the hand villain ordered waters so he may have been on the comedown from the buzz already. I also played with villain on other days and he was quite nitty.

I hope you made him show first. I've been burned too many times making loose calls where villain says "you're good," I turn over my hand and then he says "oh wait never mind I got it." So out of principle I just always wait until villain shows. Since this guy is a reg it's also doubly important to know his drunk range in this spot.

Yeah a big problem of mine is showing when it's not my turn because villain hesitates acting like they are mucking so I show. I just try not to be an ******* but so many players are slow rolling douchers or don't want to show first when their supposed to even when they have the goods.

Need to work on that and make these aholes show first

There's a few players who I just go ahead and show when I know I have them beat just to keep them in a good mood and to keep them doing the same to me in spots where they should really see my hand to get info. Basically I know how they play but they have no idea how I play at all and I dont want them knowing what I'm capable of, so if I can keep up the rapport where they show first I'll reciprocate in select spots where I'm showing meaningless hands. But if it's a tricky game with lots of value betting and showdowns then I'll just say "show or fold man", or even sympathize with them saying "look man I know I got you beat but cmon, I just want to see what you made me put $300 in there with". They usually accept this without getting angry.

Anyway you can probably get away with 4betting JJ preflop and even stacking off aipf up to 200BB vs villain if he's a maniac, just be certain he's actually a maniac. I've seen players use 1 example of a particular hand to completely define their opponent and it just doesnt work that way. But it sounds like this guy is good for it. Or you can just flat and basically expect to call him down on any runout no matter what which is a bit more classic line.

I was playing with someone the other night who is a straight up hyper aggro maniac constantly bluffing people. He was in a good mood this time and explained why he goes bluff crazy so much. He basically said he hates everyone at the table and when he hates someone he just wants to crush them and humiliate them so he plays every hand 100%, just bluffing crazily etc to ruin their day if he wins somehow. He acknowledged it's not very effective and he's working on it, but interesting insight nonetheless.

Without an answer to this, I cannot provide reliable analysis of the hand.

Not sure what your stack size is pre did I miss this?

If it's close to 100BB's, I shove pre.

As played, probably snap call
