Haha I feel you man! Realistically I dont think you butchered the turn. That specific card is super bad for us. Were going to call if he shoves on the turn just because were getting too good of odds to boat up in the event were behind. But if we dont have to put money in here and get to see a free card I think we can take it. The fact villain checks again is pretty insane since hes holding the Ad and you shouldn't ever really have that strong of a diamond. Maybe a jack at best depending on what you could be raising flop with but even that seems unlikely. Pretty fortunate villain tried to get tricky and hope that you bet river. In the end you lost the minimum when you shouldn't have. Gotta be happy that villain played his hand poorly lol. While maybe you weren't checking for all the right reasons (river is definitely a crystal clear check so that was a good move) I actually think this spot was played fine aside from the flop
