fold pre oop vs the only "good" player at the table. I get you haven't played a hand but you need to just keep waiting for better spots.
If you've decided to 3b, use a larger sizing as we need him to be folding a lot.
AP bet flop. you credibly rep sets and over pairs. His range does fit well with this flop but it is equally likely he whiffed. If he raises or he calls and you don't improve, shut it down.
The rest is a guessing game because your play preflop/otf was wack-o.
Have no idea why we are getting out-of-line preflop OOP to the best and most difficult player at the table. At the very least wait until we have position if we must be doing this.
As played, I'm fine with flop/turn. I'm trying my best to keep the pot small and just get to showdown, and meanwhile the turn seems like a good card to induce bluffs from by weakly checking again.
But in the end preflop has mostly set ourselves up for the river situation we'll mostly end up in, which is a crappy hand on a board where some draws missed and some draws got there, and now we're in a guessing game in a big pot.
very good commentary, was a helpful reminder exactly why i should fold pre and not try to force in a hand because I haven't played any in a while

Spoiler:
i called, dude flipped over ace high, entire table of recs couldn't believe i could make a call there with just a pair of 7s where in my mind dude had very few hands that bet on the river instead of checking but he had a whole lot of nothing
ignoring my stupidity preflop, the rest of the way felt pretty standard to me but the reaction of the rest of the table made me rethink whether or not i made a poor decision in addition to my poor decision of not folding pre
Fold pre obviously. As played size up the 3 bet. As played I think you have a pretty clear river call against someone splashing around. We are probably pretty high up in our distribution here and you mostly rep AK as played.
