Bluff w/ K's, 4 handed on A-high board? Bluff w/ K's, 4 handed on A-high board?

$1/2 Saturday day-time. All relevant stacks ~$225-350

UTG limps - I don't know the guy. Late 50's WG, well dressed. Seems like an ABC rec. Probably a loser, but not an idiot. Probably an easy mark. I think UTG would view H as a competent player, but I don't really know if he's paying attention.

UTG+1 calls. H looks down at KdKc in MP, makes it $15. MP +1 calls. UTG and UTG +1 call.

Flop ($59)
AhJs6h
Checks through.

Turn ($59)
4s
UTG bets $15, UTG +1 folds, H makes it $45. UTG should have a weak A here. Don't put him on much based on sizing. If I has something I should hear about it shortly. In the past I would read weakness into V and flat and lose to A5o. Now I'm rolling with the read better.

Is this credible? I can rep AJ, AQ, AK, JJ & AA. This is often exactly how I'd play a set on a 2-tone flop w/ the nut A on the board. Thoughts on this line?

I’m betting A-high boards as the PFR at a very high frequency but 4 ways I get the check. Assuming you’re planning to c/c $25~ might as b/f $25~ yourself.

If you’re going to turn your KKs into a bluff start OTF and go 3 streets. We’re not telling a credible story here. Imo they don’t care how you’d play AK on this board man; as they would’ve all bet AK OTF

Grunch: Bigger pre, please, over two limpers.

AP, fold turn. Not flat, fold. Yes, your story is credible, and yes "UTG should have a weak A here," but NEVER TRY TO GET UNKNOWN 1/2 Vs TO FOLD TOP PAIR! Until you know that they have a fold button, this is just burning money. How many times have you heard "you've got me. (deep sigh) I call."?

This is especially true since you checked flop. Sure, you'd check value on this board sometimes, but in all likelihood he wouldn't, so he's less likely to believe. Mostly though, it doesn't matter if he believes if he's going to call anyway, and that is the default behavior for 1/2 MAWGs who limp/call pre.

Pretty classic dilemma. 15 doesn’t get people to fold much at 1/2. But on the other hand a raise over 20 pretty much screams “big hand” unless you have been pretty consistently aggressive.

I’d fire 1 big bullet and if called I’m shutting down. How I always play K-k with an ace showing. It’s possible V1 just doesn’t know how to size his bets.

You probably just won with the best hand. I’d call vs 1/4 pot.

Very possible. I had planned on a 2/3-3/4 PSB OTR if called but it wasn’t needed.
