Hero - I have been at the table for exactly 35 minutes at this point. Young guy wearing a hoodie with one earbud in, I've played no hands of note ~$200 which is the max buy in.
V1- middle aged, doubled up with a runner runner full house a bet out of turn every single steeet, safe to assume he's terrible but he is not a maniac. $~320
V2- older guy wearing a Polo button up and a Rolex, bought in for 120 now he's at $~250 after doubling up 3 betting all in pre with JJ.
Hero straddles to , V1 calls on my direct left as does V2 & as does every one else so it's limped 7 ways for $4 to me in the straddle I make if 25 straight after looking at my AQcc and think for about 15 seconds. V1 & V2 are the only callers.
Pot ~$100
I think my hand is easily ahead here and could even have both opponents dominated. I would expect to be re raised pre I'd either were trying to trap pre w AA-JJ.
Flop is A82ssc
I decide to check and let either one take a stab at it or value bet a worse hand. I am fairly confident this will not get checked through. So I check V1 sheepishly puts out 25 and V2 pretty much snap calls.
V2 obv does not have a very strong hand here as he is 3! all of his sets and maybe even AK-AJ. The pot is 150 25 for me to call and I have 175 back.
I decide to jam

Nice hand before I read the result I was instantly thinking jam! I think your ahead here 65-80% of the time. Expect to see some sets and A8 every now and then though. I expect to be called by A9-AJ some flush draws and occasionally people will level themselves into calling with middle pair ie. 88-jj and maybe some slow played QQ. Don't be results oriented! hand played itself.

jamming is fine. once you call the 25 flop bet, you are pot committed.
sorry that V2 snapped you off.
flop check is terrible. you should always be betting at least 70 on that flop.

Not betting the flop is terrible on this board.

I would have bet flop for value. Flush draws call. And try folding out ace-anything sometime. I think in general you get looser calls if you just bet, that's what they expect you to do anyway.

Check/jamming pretty much folds out worse and gets calls from better. I'd much raise bet the flop small (just under half pot) then check/jam non-spade turns.

If stacks were shallower and you were sure one will bet I could get behind a check/shove. Stack sizes are perfect for a bet flop --> shove turn line.

Even if you are sure this will not get checked through you don't gain much by checking. Was your plan to check/jam regardless? I read this as a jam was reactionary which feels bad and not based off a lot of information on your opponents. We bet the flop majority of the time here especially since you raised pre. The more information the better. Get to the turn and then decide the best course of action with the most amount of information possible with tp tk. If you bet turn and they raise or jam it sounds like you have enough info on villains to determine what to do. But as played I think jam is fine based off information and flop check.
