For me it mostly boils down to how often people in your 1/3 NL game get in ~$400. Yeah, we don't have much of a read on this guy. But he's getting in ~$400 freaking dollars in a 1/3 NL game by the turn. He bet large on the flop into 2 opponents (he didn't bet nearly as large on his hand before), we called, and he shipped a huge bet. I want more info on exactly how maniacal this guy is before I start calling bets this large, so I go with my default play (which I would make to 98% of opponents) and fold now and wait for a better read to suggest he's in the 2% of opponents.
