Black bullets - Live Low-stakes No Limit Poker Forum

Hi all,

1/3. V is 25 y/o rec female. In an earlier hand she called with KcKh and raised an A-high flop with a spade flush draw and was good at show down. Hero noted that her raise was peculiar to say the least.

Anyway, V raises to $18 in MP and hero 3! $63 AcAs CO with $320 behind. V calls.

Flop ($130): 9dJdKc. She donks $150. Obviously not an ideal flop but not exactly the nut low either. She can have all Kx and of course draws/pair plus draws especially unblocking diamonds. Of course she could have outflopped me too. (What’s with the overbet donk?)

I don’t think I’m ever calling flop to fold turn so it’s all in or fold.

Seems like a trivial ship. Can’t think of a good reason to do anything else with this stack size.

Can't fold and if we call then we have 2c behind OTT. I just rip it here. I read this overbet as almost never the nuts, most likely Kx or a draw but sometimes two pair.

SPR of 2-3, V who we have seen semibluff w/ second pair +fd previously... just going to stick it all in here.

her pf call with Kings earlier also makes me think that we risk misreading her here

I prefer African American as it's a good acronym as well

But in a serious note, I imagine equities here are pretty close at worst for you and can't see how you do fold.

There's an argument to be made to just call because of she's bluffing she could jam the turn or fold now but if she has even a tiny piece she's unlikely to fold in any Street.

If they are bad enough to overbet donk with the nuts then you'll get it back later anyway.

No reason to all in or fold. Flatting to keep her bluffs in is an excellent option, unless you think she'll fold her pair+gut shots.

IME flop overbets =/= nut hands at LLSNL. I put her on two pair at best with draws and Kx being likeliest. If she outflopped us, w/e, she was getting the money anyway if she checked.

I would jam flop at this stack depth.

I think flatting and evaluating is probably best if were $600 effective+ to start the hand.

Never folding at any stack depth.
