You would need to specify cap before this mattered in any way whatsoever.

i.e., a $1,000 stack in a $200 max bi game is much more impressive than a $1,500 stack in a $500 max bi game

12-15k in a 1/2 game. It wasn't really 1/2 though. We had a guy opening to 15 every hand and calling any 3bet. Ran up an 18k stack playing the guy 2/5 the next day.

Those were the days.

i had probably close to 13 BI session in 1/2 before where the max BI was 100. But ive seen over 2k before with 100 max BI.

Parx within past couple months... I understand the table was insane and a lot of people just buying in max in black chips and getting it in. Apparently he had more than when I saw him with ~$9k

Depends on table rules ... Lots of places let you buy in for the largest stack.

At a $300 max room I saw a guy with $3800 in front of him ... and the charity room was only allowed to sell $15K a day. That was a nice (lucky/hot) session.

The $9k could be very reachable with unlimited chips and a long session IMO. I have cashed out for $2k in only 4 hours at 1-2 quite a few times. GL

$11000 in my local 1/2 game. Insane black super LAG running awesome. I think he was a drug dealer or something and had no regard for money. When he played the games became insane.
