1/3 live NL
Effective stack 80$ ish, I was about 100BB
6 handed
Only played for about an hour, everyone else seemed to know each other. Nobody knew a thing about me, not my usual watering hole. Ran over table with timely bluffs and ran well for last half hour, so probably seemed a little loose. Only SD maybe one hand, nut straight.

Villain 1 18 year old kid, betting 1BB on all streets and three betting light, saw him check down turn/river after flopping KTs K high flush, stack ~80$ SB
Villain 2 Old fish, very loose with small stack ~80$ BB

Hero AQo UTG +1

UTG raises 2BB,
Hero calls
SB (Villain 1) 3 bets to $20, BB calls, UTG folds, hero goes all in.

I knew kid had been three betting a lot with middle pairs, suited connectors etc, and he wouldn't call without KK+ AKs ish... old fish would call wide as he had all night with short stack...

Should I have seen a flop to keep SBs wide range in? I would think AQo 3 ways isn't ideal and dead money from SB/fold equity seemed attractive...

Please dont post the results of the hand before people weigh in.

As described, the shove was good. Lots of possible dead money and a V who likes to raise to light. Good hand. Maybe could have 3bet the initial open. Hard to say.

Probably best to just 3b/GII pre at first opportunity but flatting isn't a crime. As played shoving over V1 is mandatory.

Edit: Misread hand, I assume UTG is not short stacked. In that case I'm fine with either 3b or flat. I'd prefer 3b without these short stacks around but as it is there's benefits in trapping people as happened in this hand (havent seen results but AQ allin 3 ways for like 25BB vs described villains is a good result).

Yeah sorry, UTG had about 125BB or so and was min raising/limp and folding to isos or 3 bets a lot.

Villain 1 folded 99, Villain 2 called A3o because he "only had 60$ left" (when he bought in for ~$100) and he sucked out. Oh well.

Worse than him flopping 2nd nut flush KTs on Qd7d3d 10s4c and checking down in position within the first 5 hands of a tournament that everyone only starts with 35BB?
