Hero: (200) TAG image
V: Asian kid playing a lot of hands, fairly aggressive post flop, doesn't like too often, Loose player (roughly 400)

I open to 16 pf in LP with AK

V calls from UTG? I think he limp called my raise here from EP;

F: T52 (all spades) ; pot(34)

He checks , I c-bet 20 here which I think is pretty standard with my overs and nut FD; he calls;

T:8 ;
He checks to me; I feel I am WA/WB here so I opt to check back and maybe induce some bluffs OTR; I don't think I have much FE against his TX hands or PP's, this player doesn't like to fold too often and not quite sure what his range looks like on the turn here, (TX,FD's,SD's,) the hands I beat , I crush , so I wanted to give him a chance to bluff those and at the same time save money the times he has a hand like TX or a set that he's never folding;

I feel this turn could be a standard betting situation with my equity so feel free to roast me on this one

R:7

He bets 30 into me on the river; Getting a good price and checking the turn to induce … I am never folding here so I make the call pretty quickly;

How does my line look here?

TIA

Your hand looks like exactly what it is, and he can make that same bet for thin value or a bluff. I'm not a fan of this call with your A blocker. He has way more hands that can make this value bet than hands he peeled the flop with, some of which could be pretty strong. He has lots of flushes, straights, sets, and 2 pairs in his range. Meanwhile you're beating... QJ? KQ? Ax? It's a bit optimistic to think those hands peeled the flop.

I would have liked calling the river a bit more if you had checked back the flop. Your flop bet narrowed his range too much for you to be ahead enough I think.

River call is optimistic. While checking back turn can be ok, I disagree with your wa/wb reasoning. You will frequently have 12+ outs and be ahead more than 25% of the time depending on villain, so not really a way behind situation.

i mean its kind of an standard barreling flop for your hand.

i don't mind not barreling though. river call, i would imagine is a bit -ev (people play a lot of 10s, so he probally has 10) but he might call flopw with a lot of k,q,j of spades that missed.

its a fine hero call

one thing to note is too keep track of what he limped with, because people limp calling range sometimes can be rather specific.

Just fold the river. There aren't many combos he can have that call the flop and can't beat you. KsQ, KsJ, QsJ, I'm starting to run out now.
