Was confused whether to shove or just call here

2nd hand at the table late night weekend game. Pretty much everyone is unknown

everyone seems to have at least $250

Hero has $350
SB has $280

Hero makes it $15 UTG+1 with AJ
6 callers lol

Flop is KJT (Pot is $105)
SB leads $75, Hero to act, 5 more players behind

Yup. Guy who bet $75 into 5 people is very unlikely to fold. Just call and hope more money enters the pot.

With non-deepish stacks, I think AJs plays much better as a limp (high SPR pot) than a raise at tables like this (where mostly we flop just TP against the world in a small SPR pot, which sucks imo). For instance, imagine this exact same result (eleventeen ways to SPR lol << 3, standard, amirite?) on a Jxx or even Axx flop (our most likely result) and now what?

I think I ship the flop. We're obviously never folding at any point no matter what we do. A ship can still fold out hands that have decent equity (such as Kx). A ship can still get called by worse that we're crushing (such as worse flush draw, Qx).

Call and holler bingo for big pot. With 2-3 callers I might shove and hope for the "fold better/get called by weaker" combo punch.

It's really hard to play this badly from this point.

Is there a bonus for getting a royal? If so, calling gives you so much more implied odds when you bink that magical card.

If not, shoving is fine, if everyone folds you win with 2nd pair, if you get callers, the more the better and you have a ton of equity in an already big pot.

Calling in this particular spot with so many to act behind as it's very possible someone has a smaller flush draw behind and will over call where they may fold to a shove.
You have to be prepared to go with it on the turn if you miss because the pot will be huge

I want to see the last two cards.

Calling the $75 brings the pot up to $255 and SB has $190 behind. SB can ship a blank turn and give Hero about 2.3 to 1 pot odds. That probably isn't enough to call just on the flush draw/gutshot alone.

So I would rather ship it on the flop.
