Hero: ($250) 125bbs
Villian: ($450) 225bbs

Preflop im in cutoff seat with 77, with 5 limpers in front of me i make it $12 and get 5 callers

Flop($75): As 7d 4d
checks around and i lead for $22 only recieving one caller

Turn($119): Ts
worried he might be calling with a flush draw i attempt to protect my hand and after the person checks i lead for $65 and i get called
NOTE: im planning on folding to diamond if he leads river if he checks river im planning on doing the same

River($249): 5c
Was pretty excited about this card but he leads for $100
i Shoved over the top for only $51 more

Did i play this hand properly?
I typically have a hard time getting value out of sets? Anything i should change

Your post flop sizing is absolutely terrible. It's 200NL but this should be in the beginners' forum- you'll have a better chance of getting the help you need there.

Ur sizing otf is way to small. I dont like the raise pre either vs 5 limpers with smallish PP.

Why wouldnt u want to protect ur hand otf but ott all of the sudden u want to protect vs FD..?

At the moment in time on the flop when it checked around to me by betting small I was honestly hoping for a repop by any small aces also I thought by betting small it might look like a steal and if they just called I only assumed they were on flush or straight draws and was hoping by only betting $22 to really get a feel for what the other players were holding and then reacess on turn..............Soooooo preferably just a limp Preflop even in good position? Also what amount would u have made this flop

Raise pre is better than limping but should be bigger. Flop sizing is way too small. You need to charge draws and get value from Ax.

You should get out of the mindset of "protecting my hand...." You want to start thinking of the term "charging the draws...." When you think like protecting your hand is important, you will start blowing out worse hands that you want value from.

Ya sizing pre isn't terrible as you are building a pot but if you want to isolate you should be making 15-17 on the flop as a general rule you should very rarely be betting less than half the pot. The V got to see a turn way too cheap and he could of picked up extra equity on the turn. You should of had your stack in by the turn easy with proper sizing.

So pre 15-17 flop as played 75 bet 50 or 2/3 pot and with one call there would be 175 and you would have right around a pot sized bet on the turn to get max value from all his lesser hands on all streets.

Pre is fine, especially given position, but I personally would of made it 15-17.

As played flop should be around 50-60. With 5 callers you should be getting at least one caller with this flop generally. Then your able to jam turn.

You have read board texture dude. You can't 1/3 on this Ahigh drawy board. You could bet full pot and they still wouldn't put you on a set. Your hand is disguise. If you want to make a fancy bet size like 1/3rd pot learn what boards you should be doing this on A 7 4 is not one of them.
