BB special flopped 2pair facing AI on turn.

Local 1-2 game. Hero arrives back from a bathroom break and buys the button. There is like 5 limps to me. I look down at 10-3o. I check my option. (not really BB special but same thing essentially.)

Flop(12$) comes Kc10c3h

I check planning to check raise any bets on the flop or lead the turn if it checks through.

Guy in BB bets 15. Folds to Villain(355$) who calls. folds back to me and i raise to 45$ (sizing?)

BB folds and V calls.

Villain is young 30 something Asian guy. Loud mouth and while not a terrible player he limps a lot and has made some weird plays. He seems to play solid at times and then just go off on weird tricky moods.
Previous hands with V this session include Hero calling an overbet on the river from V, he missed a draw and i called with 2nd pair.

He also limp "MIN"-reraised AA from UTG. Overall just making wierd and tricky plays.

Back to the hand, the turn is 115ish$ and comes 8d.

I bet out 100$ and V snap shoves AI for his remaining 310$

Hero?

Why do you want to play for stacks with bottom two in a limped pot? If you’re ahead, it’s not by much after V calls your raise. I’d just lead out on every street until the board gets worse.

not a fun spot as played. Raise flop bigger for sure if you're gonna x/r but I'd probably just call.

I agree with leading flop as I feel this hand performs much better as a lead than a x/r or x/c.

As played bleh. I'm calling cause I think villain likely raises or re-raises you with KT/33/TT otf. There's a lot of XcXc combos that he could potentially jam.

What are considerations to factor in when deciding to lead into a pot like this or go for the x/r? Honestly leading ranges is something I have not addressed in my game much yet.

It seems like a lead can be perceived as a wider range than a x/r? does having a vulnerable bottom two pair tend to push us into leading?

Honestly I was thinking in my head during he pot " why did I let this get this big?"

I'd lead flop or at least x/r bigger OTF. As played, we probably have to sigh call turn, given that it's not too much more and we're getting a decent price, but I'm kind of hating life here.

Typically when checkraising flop for value you want to be looking to play for stacks, because when you deliberately make the pot big from OOP you're setting up a situation where you had better be happy to do that. You don't want to be building a big pot then abandoning it on a later street - unless you're bluffing, obviously.

While your hand is strong in a vacuum, it's weak in the set of hands better than one pair. It's unlikely anyone has a strong one pair hand here in view of nobody having raised pre (you were lucky to run into a strong one pair hand in the actual hand). Your hand only beats one pair hands, so it's problem if you're checkraising and nobody can have a good version of the only set of hands that you beat. If 4-bet, you'll have to fold as you're getting annihilated by KT and 33 and are a small underdog to combo draws such as QcJc.

As played, call his shove. Most LLSNL players are petrified of getting sucked out on and would not allow a free card OTF with KT or 33. His hand looks like a draw that wants to bluff. (I'm aware he actually had AA, it's hard to read him for that).

This is a snap call, especially against a tricky V. We block monster hands and there are a ton of draws

Nah, rather easy fold. It is worse hand we have in our flop raising range. So we don't have to be worried about being exploited.

Had you not released results. This could have been good debate.

Not worried about being exploited, trying to exploit the opponent. Specifically, I don't think villain has anywhere near enough sets and top twos in his flat twice OTF range to allow him to be balanced OTT, he has to be overbluffing.

I don't think the fact that he showed up with AA means he would slowplay KT or 33 otf BTW. Psychologically quite different. Having seen the AA I do think it would be possible for him to have KK, as people are addicted to trapping with the nuts.
