Villain limped pf with TT earlier seems to be passive older Asian guy. No particular reads on him.
Hero has $200 covers villain. Hero image is somewhat crazy i limped then jammed with 22 over a raise from someone else who snapped off with AQ.
I raise from MP to $12 with AsKd get two callers including villain from blind. Flop 6c9c6s. I cbet $15 and before i even finish placing my bet out villain already calls. Turn Ac villain instantly ships.
My thinking is villain probably isnt good enough to instacall then bomb turn with one club and overs seems he plays ao passive.
Does a 6 or a flush make sense here and is it a fold?
How much does villain have? Without a good read on villain this is an easy fold unless his stack is really short. Occasionally villain will turn up with a worse AX or total bluff, but has enough 6X and flushes in his range that you would need a good read on villain's preflop and flop ranges to consider calling.
For a $53 shove into a $68 pot I fold but it is at the upper end of the annoying range. If he has more then $80 to start and was making a pot sized shove I'm not calling. If he had $50 or less and was making a 1/2 pot shove or less then I call it off. In between, it depends on read but I don't think your beating a passive villain enough.
He could definitely have a flush draw on the flop or something like A6 or A9 unsuited. The only thing you beat on the turn is a straight draw (unlikely he'd shove that on a paired board when the flush got there), something like K9, or a straight up bluff.
I think you're usually beat, but he's short-stacked enough that you can look him up. I definitely fold if he's deeper stacked. I probably fold here.
