Table:
1/2 NL, Wednesday afternoon
Overall pretty passive pre flop. Bet sizing is on the small side. Everyone is trying to see cheap flops. Decent amount of money going in with TP/NK, slow played over pairs, and other mediocre hands.

Hero:
I've got a pretty spewy image at the moment. I've been raising 25% of pots, maybe 40% in LP but very tight in EP. $450 or so. Sometimes I'm getting 3 callers with $12, sometimes I'm getting 0. I'm constantly getting looked up post flop for smaller sized bets (1/2 pot sized) when people have second pair and the sort. $450

Villain:
Rec fish. Limps and call loose pre flop. When he raises he tends to cBet. He hasn't made a move at the pot without TP or better post flop. I haven't seen him slow play at all. $225

Pre flop
3 people limp in
V limps
Hero limps OTB with T8
SB completes
BB checks

Flop: ($12) 976
4 checks
V bets $10
Hero raises to $25
Rest fold
V calls

Turn: ($62) 3
V checks
Hero bets $50
V calls

River: ($162) 8
V checks
Hero bets?

Clearly I'm betting something, but unless he has TX this is about the worst possible river for him to see. I feel like with my bet sizing is pretty obvious that I've got a monster and I worry that I if I just shove here I might blow him off 2p. Maybe I'm just imagining things though and maybe he snap calls me with 2p. Also, if I know that V will call flop raise and turn bet this hand would be easy to play, but what's normally a good sizing on both streets? Clearly we want to try and get stacks in here.

I debated raising pre flop, but given how light I'm getting called down post flop there's almost no 1p hand that I like on the flop. And with stack sizes of everyone else being pretty low ($200 or less on average) I felt that keeping my SPR high would be better than trying to play a bloated pot with possibly 2-3 other people in it.

Given that you really should just about never have what you have in this spot I'm okay playing pretty hard on this flop. Vil has shown interest and lots of cards can hit the turn that kill our action, think A, K, 10, 8 , 5 So bigger raise, probably to $40 and follow through accordingly.
If you think he can level himself into calling then jam all day on river. We really should not have many Tens in our range here and if opponent is thinking he will certainly recognize that this is an excellent place to bluff.
Essentially to call he has to put us on a bluff anyway, so why not get the max when he does?

Nvm, for some reason I was thinking we had raised pf, so yes, T8 is in our range, but in a limped multiway pot I think Vil also has something, and will pay more for draws.

He's got $148 left and the pot is $163. Not sure what the problem is. Bet $150. Unless you bet really small, if he has you on a straight now he's not going to call anything.

I'm pretty much never limping the button with a hand as good as T8s. But w/e.

As played, I'm going to put in a much bigger raise on the flop. There's so much of everyone's range that this flop hits, I expect calls.

Also, with Hero's image, you have to set folks up to want to play sheriff, and this is your chance.

I'm probably making it $45 on the flop. In hind sight, Villain would have been the only caller, but at least now the pot is like $100, and our SPR going into the turn is 1.5:1, and we can easily get stacks in by the river. $75 on the turn and shove river.

Not much gray area on this one. There is little difference between $75 and pot since he only has $150 behind. Any bet here really commits his whole stack so I bet the pot here.

A small value bet can potentially be made around $50 but i'd rather bet $150 and entice that call. With your image, can also look like you are making a move.

Flop raise is too small.
Otherwise everything is fine.

I think that a weird $50 bet gets paid off by two pairs and low ends of straights more often than shoves, but others ITT think otherwise.
