Sat for about one orbit. No info on V

Just a younger white guy, airbuds hat, poker face only a mother could love, you're typical young WSOP Pro playing 1-2.

Hero in BB w/ QJo (around 100)
____________________________________
5 limps to the btn. Btn bets 22

V calls (around 250ish)

Hero calls

All limpers fold

Flop Ad QJh ($66)

SB bets 35

Hero jams $85

Btn folds

V shows K10o

Turn 8h, river 7c

Am I wrong for calling preflop? Should I have called not reraise/shove with such a small stack? I think it was good play just poor luck on my end.

Fold preflop, you are no way deep enough to play this for 1/5th of your stack.

AP, jam is fine.

It's all bad. Especially calling off 1/5th of your stack pre with QJos. If you're gonna short stack 1/2 learn how to do it the "right Way".

Welcome to the forum, OP. In future posts, please don't include results in your title or your post. Get up to your decision point that you most want to talk about, and then stop, saying "hero: ?" Meaning "what action should hero take here.

PF is awful. Only worse play than limp/calling QJ was V limp/calling KT in even earlier position. Just horrendous on both of your parts.

AP pre, flop shove is obvious.

Okay, makes sense sorry about that. And if was suited would clearly be more acceptable correct? Also what does "AP" mean?

Meaning that the advice acknowledges that a mistake was made previously in the hand.

Like if you called 72o and flopped 772, fold pre but as played check/raise the flop.

And no, it being suitd would not make this OK. Suitedness adds ~2% to your chance of winning the hand.

It is a big factor when you are deep, as there are nice implied odds, but at only 50bbs, and the raise being to 11bbs, this is a turbo fold. If I had 100bbs and the raise was only to 4bbs, I'd call pre, but even then it is iffy out-of-position, and I'd only be calling because I knew all the limpers would too.
