I'm asking what hands he has been showing down. I wouldn't be surprised if he was playing all his missed hands and mid/bottom pairs passively. To me it looks like this guy could have KQ or KJ after a $25 bet and call, he's raising to charge the draws with a pretty strong hand. If he has been showing down some TPGK's and taking passive lines with them, then I would consider a fold.

The standard play here is to flat the flop raise and then gii on all non-spade turn cards.

With very strong reads, we could find an exploitable fold, but realistically, with all the 2pr combos fairly unrealistic and lots of possible semibluffs, I'm usually not getting away from this hand.

I think flatting is horrible considering the stack sizes.

I also think most people have been responding without regard to the OP's Villain description of loose passive.

We really have to be pretty certain that he never goofs off with KQo for it to be correct to fold. I really think we should hear from OP why he has this read that Villain plays loose passive. Like mrdestiny I assumed that he observed him check/call check/call check/fold a few hands, and so he tagged him as a passive player. But did he take any TPGK hands to showdown with a passive line? If so, I would reconsider my suggestion to GII.

I think we're forgetting the fact that the player in the middle's continuing range is basically all sets. If we jam here and he calls, we're dead like all the time. If we flat here and he back-shoves we save that last amount of money.

Probably folding. I forget who said it on here, maybe Petrucci or Ava, but if you fold one pair on the flop everytime you get raised at live 1/3 you won’t be sacrificing much EV at all. Obviously I’m not saying fold one pair against every villain on every flop against a raise but I think it needs to be our default play and then start to figure out reasons why to deviate from it.

Kind of weird though, I put this hand into Snowie and Snowie basically folds every hand imaginable. It folds AA, AK/KQ/KJ, 78ss, all nfd combos and open ender bdfd. I can’t imagine playing that tight is correct against decent opponents right?

I'm really never jamming here in this exact spot, never calling either, folding is my line, however; call/fold has got to be worse than jamming in this spot. Villain does have KQ/KJ here a small portion of the time.

I’d fold. V is not raising a cbet, he is raising cbet and a call.

Tank fold.

I can't see any way you're not crushed.

I agree with the poster who stated that the way to crush this level is against ppl who can't find a fold in spots like this.
