1/3

H: tight image because hasn't gotten hardly any cards, only been playing an hour though. 250$

V1: on H's immediate right. Black guy sat down same time as H and has been switching seats and opening a lot pre, showing some bluffs post but generally finds a fold when he's beat. Lots of volatility in his stack, currently up. 450$

V2: Older white guy, calls too much pre, plays fit or fold post. mostly irrelevant.

V2 (MP) limps, V1 (BTN) opens to 20 (standard sizing for him), H (SB) looks down at AQ and considers a 3-bet given V1's wider range and semi-positional awareness, asks to see how much V1 has (he has some hidden green 25$ chips) then wimps out and flat calls. V1 calls.

Flop (60$) Q J 8

H checks, V2 checks, V1 bets 25$, H x/min-raises to 50$ (thoughts?), V2 folds, V1 tanks for a good 3-4 minutes and eventually calls but seems reluctant.

Turn (160$) Q J 8 7

H? I have 180$ behind.

Flop c/r is insanely bad

Have to 3b pre vs active opener
Flop c/c imo, pretty coordinated flop, so don't really want to play a big pot here vs a wide BTN range
Turn AP, I guess jam turn, since the 7 doesn't change much and can charge pair+str8draw hands like QT

What’s the max buy-in? Why do you only have $250 with direct position on V1?

c/c flop

c/r is overplaying the strength of your hand

3! pre. Hate the flop min raise. What are you trying to accomplish?

Meh I knew x/r was bad. Anyway results:

Spoiler:
H reaches for chips, V snap folds face up showing JJ says I know you have QQ, I let him think that

Is this for real? People call with sets on 4 flush /4 to a straight boards because you only flop a set once or twice a night and I hazz a set... This guy is dumping middle set after a minraise flop and you reaching for chips on the turn???

If true please keep bluffing this MUBSy man.

Think I'd lean towards a 3bet preflop against a guy opening a lot (especially with him on the Button against a lone limper) and with these non-large stacks. I'd probably go $80 to setup a flop shove. I don't hate a flat cuz letting the other guy call with a dominated Ace is fine plus we have some multiway playability with this hand, but being OOP for such a large percentage of our stack, it's likely my second choice.

Is this guy going to 3bet a lot against us two? If not, I might just donk myself to protect my equity. As played, I guess there's enough scare cards to not want to just flat here, but I think I might just still do that (against this guy check/raising often just folds way worse, right?), although being OOP I'll probably be forced to donk the turn anyways.

As played, I'm probably playing for stacks, so I'd like 1/2 PSB the turn to setup a easy river shove.
