Against short stacks I am only really comfortable calling off QQ+ and AK. That being said, I won't be ecstatic about it but JJ and TT are also occasionally a call.
If we cannot call off with AQs and JJ-TT maybe 99, we can use these as fold equity hands. If we Jam 68 effective into 13, villain is calling 60 into 81 so we have decent amount of fold equity.
As played, I think this is a xf, flop is horrible for our range and any over pair with s is probably calling us.
Keen to hear other opinions, feels like a super awkward spot.
I like the breakdown preflop of if we 3bet we should be jamming. Seems correct, guess if he had 90+ it would be a bit of a stretch to only call or jam.
I think on the flop you say any overpair will call me, but I don't think reasonable opponents have JJ+ in their range, and they are only flatting maybe 88+. I think his flat range pre is composed of a lot of overcards at this point. But then it's kind of a strange spot since my bet could be equity denial vs hands like kt, value vs one spade+overs (though we are 50/50 in that case), or rare bluff if he scares off with AK no spade.
