Typing this out I think my bet sizing was bad on the turn, also was there room for value there (keeping in mind that they will call draws and mid pair alot).

Should Have I bet river? I think I get any K to call me here which is likely but when she reraises now I think about it I cant see her having worse than a Q. I think having put myself in this spot I have to call here right for 80 more?




Bonus hand: Husband is tilting hard with $450 behind Hero has $500~
Husband been raising alot of limped pots when in position and since he has been tilting so I go for the trap.

Hero dealt AA UTG, Hero limps 5, 3-4 limpers around to Husband who bets 55. Folds to hero who Re-raise 155. Folds to Husband who starts getting his $300~ stack ready to ship and as he ships says I know you have Aces, I snap call, flip my aces. Hit an A on the turn and he never shows. Easy $450 to end the night

I don't mind how it played out until the raise on the river. Then it was time to fold. The board is way too dangerous for someone to bluff with air.

Calling stations who start raising is usually a bad sign.

I wouldn't even play AQo UTG vs a table full of calling stations personally.

Funny you say this becuse I kind of agree.

A lot of times this raise will attract a minimum of 4/5 callers maybe more.
So a lot of flops are scary. Not only that I out myself oop with tptk? And have to bet 3 streets vs stations calling on any gutshot draw, it's probably +ev but huge variance

I think people saying advocating folding AQo pre are too nitty, especially since we can get 3 streets on most Ax or Qx boards and then tone down our c-bets with air.

This doesn't happen very much. IMO it's somewhat unlikely.

But definitely an excellent result when it does happen.
