i quit a job to figure out if i have ability in poker.
and it has been a month playing poker in casino 1-3

i have never thought about this job tough.
i have thought it wouls be very nice job playing what i liked. but whoa it didnt take long.

first week i had won 5 days along. my profit was about 4000 dallors. i thought i was very good player
but after then up and down and last week of month i lost whole i earned playing poker and lost another -10 buy in
so total loss of this month is minus 10 buyin. the dwon swing. bad run is part of poker and when it comes to you it is wow disaster.

strees is enormous.
i have never thought seriously about variance and down swing. but when it came to me it was just wow.
no matter what i played i couldnt beat the session.
you will know even if i didnt mention it.
nut flush vs river full house
flop flush vs river full house
full house vs quads
top two pair on flop or turn vs river better two pair.
kind thing.

i want to know if somebody has failed to be a poker player as a job and if so why.

i think it because of bankroll and mental system.

Almost everyone fails at poker.

Therefore, I'm locking this thread. If you want to get better, the place to start is reading the threads at that top of the forum page.

To add to the above, OP, even most winning poker players fail when they try to turn pro.

For discussion of why, try the bankroll vibrates and finances thread.
