Live 2/5. I have ran pretty well and have a stack around 1300 at this time. Im playing pretty solid, shown down the goods pretty much everytime and overall playing pretty well.

Asian $350ish(MP2)behind me has been very quiet but looks to be on somewhat scared money. Hasnt talked much and has generally been passive

Kid $175(HJ) is plaing pretty fast. He has a short stack and has 3bet shoved quite often with as little as AJ.

HAND

UTG+1 opens to 20. He is very loose pre and I have successfully iso'd and squeezed a few times. UTG+2 calls, I raise to 80 with TT. Asian calls very fast, and I am somewhat concerned... HJ shoves for 175, which as the astute observer will note, is enough to reopen the betting. The dealer says it reopens, so I know that the Asian kid knows.

Hero??? Thoughts, not results, in spoiler

Spoiler:
My main thoughts were that I really dont like calling. If he ships on me, I cant be happy and probably have to fold. Folding also seems kinda bad given the price that I am getting. If I shove I think the only hand he should have is QQ to call, less folds to the shove, and any better I think he would 4bet. Although I guess a small % of the time he might flat a monster.

So IMO shoving >>>>>>>>> calling >>> folding but that could be wrong.

Thoughts?

Also in regards to the 3bet preflop, though I think that is standard vs someone playing a wide range in most positions and a call... but I am open to debate against that...

I dunno since i never make the mistake of 3 bet squeezing TT like this.

Its like that other thread where theguy calls his dad and say, yea dad, i know i got drunk and ran the car into a 7-Eleven, but forget all that and give me some advice on how not to get buttfuqqed in jail tonight.

Yep, I do realise that.

And yes, we did have the discussion which may also have involved either JJ or TT....

But the same could apply with say, 55 just a shove... not the caller behind.

It sounds weak but I probably fold. Let's look at this villian by villian:

HJ:
I know you said he's 3bet shoved with as little as AJ, but this is a 4bet shove, over top of a 3bet and a cold caller no less. With only 95 more, he has to know there's a very good chance he's getting called so I'd say his range here could be tighter than his typical 3bet shove. On the other hand, maybe he's oblivious to all this and is just mindlessly shoving AJ+ regardless of the action in front of him

Asian Kid:
I ask myself what sort of a hand would a passive/scared money player cold call a 3bet with for a quarter of his stack. The answer I keep thinking of is JJ&QQ. I suppose AK is also possible. If you shove here I really think you're turning your hand into a bluff. The only reason I'd shove here is if you think there's a good chance he'll lay down those hands; otherwise I think this is a fold.
