I c bet $425 and he tanked for about 5 minutes.
Flipped up pocket jacks kept poking me questions then folded after another 2 minutes. I couldn't believe he folded an over pair to me. I'll have to be very careful the next time I play him as he is a regular and will for sure remember that spot.
He proceeded to spew the rest of his stack afterwards unfortunately I wasn't the recipient.

I also wasn't sure if I could label him as a maniac before that. He really just seemed bored. I do remember there were several orbits where only several hands actually went to the flop.

Also if anyone wants a TLDR from this post, I definitely saw two mistakes.
I 4 bet WAY too much. Especially when he 3 bets so small, a smaller 4 bet is more appropriate.
I am curious what people do think of my C bet sizing. I wanted to show that I was committed and that he would have had to call an all in.(i was going to call any shove obviously.) In the end I got my fold but I am still flabbergasted he showed JJ.

Your 4bet was big, but if his 3bet had been "normal" your 4bet wouldn't have been so large, so not terrible.
C-bet was a little large, too, but from a player perceived as tight, that's what would be expected from AA or KK.
