Back to 2/5 games and found this odd spot. Not often do I get a 4bet pot with multiple callers but here it is.

BTN Asain Lady $1000 - She likes the 5 card PLO and isn't really blasting but I bet she has some gamble

CO Asain guy $1000 - He has been running pretty good against me - Hit a few trips and flushes and I doubt he is attacking me, he is just getting decent hands.

UTG+1 Hero $1700 - In for $2400 - Lost 200bb with pair+ nut flush draw vs 2 pair - standard stuff. Most of my hands are losing at showdown

Hero dealt AK and goes $15
Asian guy goes $45
Lady calls

Hero goes $180
Asain guy tank calls (I assume he probably has the same hand )
Lady calls pretty quick (probably TT-QQ)

$540
8TJ

Hero Check
Asian guy check
Asain lady goes $240

I am pretty sure it's a fold but I do have the A

Not really sure I can lead on this flop - it's really connected and pretty bad for a multiway flop.

I mean you missed the flop and it slammed the hell out of their ranges. That sounds like a good time to give up to me. You having the As makes it worse because they can't have the nut flush draw. Super easy ck/fold imo.

You say that you doubt the guy is attacking you and is just getting good hands.

I think I just flat pre-flop.

As played, it looks like we're toast. Fold.

Ya I did fold

Now the a better question

Is this a flat or a 4 bet or does it really mater long term?

My goal was to get it at least heads up, or just win the $$$ right now

Not a great result when they both call.

I like your 4 bet because 1. you are pretty deep and 2. someone cold called inbetween

Yeah, having this makes it a fold.

If you think the cold 3! caller has a strong range why 4!? Do you plan on 4! folding if the 3!er jams?

Is there any type of 3! dynamic? W/o a dynamic that makes their 3! or 4! calling ranges non nutted calling is probably better because their ranges are strong and will not be folding to a 4!.

PreFlop: I’m going to have to agree with the majority of responders here. AKo is just a CALL against 3! from a tight ABC player. A 4! would be reserved for a LAG or a Positional 3-Bettor.

By 4! in this spot, you have unnecessarily created a bloated pot OOP with a hand that’s still a draw PreFlop.

Flop: Your play was correct to FOLD, even though you hold an A♠️. Backdoor draws are very, very rare to come. They can cost you your whole stack.

Basically agree with most other posters. Mostly flatting this hand pre, and check folding given the sizing and the spr. We're going to have to check fold so many turns, our pair outs are tainted, and the times that we do improve to a flush draw we're getting the money in behind. I'd consider a flop call if we were really deep.
