1/2 MD Live

Hero ($300): Late 20s, playing TAG. Losing image. Card dead, not involved often and when I am I've been check/folding as pfr or not doubling barreling bad turns and then giving up on turn.

V1 ($230): Late 20s new to the table but seems sort of competent. have seen him bet/bet when checked to by the pfr once before and take down a pot once but no showdowns yet.

V2 ($600): 40s black dude who is running like God. He's also god-awful and a mega station. He's been involved in every single pot and is extremely sticky. Will call down to the river with any pair looking to hit 2 pair.

Hand: V1 limps in MP and V2 limps on the BTN and I am in the SB with AK. I raise to $15. Both call. 3-way:

Flop ($47): QT7

I check. V1 bets $25. V2 actually folds. Hero? Thoughts on flop check?

Fold.

The 3 off suit jacks are the only sure to be clean outs. There are multiple straight draws and the flush draw, so there are a lot of turn cards bad for double barreling. OOP against multiple opponents, this is not a good board for c-betting. This is a good board for giving up and moving on to the next hand quickly. Having a station in the hand just makes it easier.

Meh, just fold. That's a pretty horrible board. Checking the flop is fine against two opponents. I don't do it often against 2 players but I like doing it here.

You're not getting good odds on calling that bet, and even if your outs are good you're only calling to see the turn and you're a huge underdog to hit your hand on that round. Then there is the possibility your hand improves a lot but you still end up with a second best hand.

Your image is poor, you're OOP and the flop hits a ton of ranges. x/fold the flop is fine.

Fold. Ugly flop with AK OOP against 2 opponents. It hits villains' limp/call ranges pretty hard.

c/f is best on this flop. No point putting anymore money in oop.

Check/fold is fine... BUT you have a decent amount of equity. I hate check/calling (or check/raising), but I think you can throw out one bet of like $25-30. You just have to know to value bet V2 relentlessly if he calls and you turn an A, K, or J - even if it's a flush card.

C-bet flop for sure...This should hit your perceived pre flop raising range and you have some equity. There are some good double barrel turn cards and you will still have equity...You have a tight image, although a losing image..This may have been a hand to break your losing streak. I think you gave up too early.

2 callers and a decent board texture to c-bet bluff with some equity...I'm c-bet bluffing this with a high frequency (especially with a good image)
