Hero is at 210. The day has not gone very well despite being technically "up." Villain is a 40 yo white guy. Very likable but he's a tournament guy who does the shades and hoodie at the 1/2 table. He's a LAG. He has tilt issues but he's running well and happy today. He buys in for 100. Has 340 at start of hand. He thinks Hero is nitty, but also thinks Hero is above average as a player (I think). This is an average game, all regs to one degree or another. Hero has AK UTG. He opens to $12.
Villain is in MP and makes it $24. He does not usually min-raise. It folds around to Hero who completes. This min-raise is scary to me. In 1/2, in my opinion, min-reraises are usually nutted. Do you think I'm wrong about this? I'm no great player. Feel free to redirect.

Yes, most preflop min reraises are nutted. Unless you've personally seen someone do it with a different hand its AA/KK the vast majority of the time.

When they do that to me, I fold everything except hands that can bust big pairs. Hands like QJs/88/T9s I call with ad hands like AK/KT I fold.

I would fold this flop if I were you.

4b or shove bud

Against a totally unknown villain I just fold AK to the min raise. If stacks are deep enough I might fish with a weaker flop but AK is playing against AA/KK too often.

Against a LAG who doesn't normally min raise I fold AKo preflop but I call with AKs. I would fold this flop when he continues without the nut flush draw. This flop should smash your calling range preflop and he is still angling to put you all in. He is either getting into winners tilt or flopped something big.

I'm going to start folding to those min-raises. I'm glad I posted this. It doesn't happen that often but usually ends badly for me.
