*2/5 NL

Hero: Appears early 20s, maybe seen as slightly passive by others at table. Been playing for 3 or 4 hours. Been raising pre flop a good %. Doubled up on first hand and won another $400 hand on second hand at table. Been bleeding chips since - majority in two reasonable sized pots where I think I made correct folds on the river.
(~440 stack)

Villian 1: LAG, seems to be a regular. Can play fairly tricky. Had previously seen him double up with JT on a Q94 flop, called a blank turn for $150. River card comes a K and Jams, other person tank calls with QQ.
($1500 stack)

Villian 2: Older very wealthy gentlemen, limps/calls a lot but a relative NIT post flop.
($2000 stack)

Villian 1 limps utg+2
HJ limps

Hero raises to $30 in the cutoff with AK
Villian 2 calls on the button
Villian 1 calls
pot ($102)
Flop: Kc7c2d

Villian 1 checks
Hero bets $65
Villian 2 folds
Villian 1 ask how much I have behind. I say around $350. He thinks for 15 or 20 seconds then shoves all in.

Hero goes into the tank and finally calls. Thought process being this is more likely a nut flush draw than a set, with a fair amount of bluffs added in as I believe villain views me as slightly passive/weak post flop.

I think preflop should have been $35? I might have actually made it that, don't quite remember.
Flop bet i think should be pretty standard? I don't see any reason to check this three way when it could check back and give both villians a free turn card. Mainly looking for advice on flop call, should this be an easy call?

35 - 40 pre is likely better given 2 limpers, but depends on your table standard. My usual game plays BIG.

I think you played this well and need to call. You're facing semi-bluffs here (nut flush most likely but possibly smaller flushes especially if they have a backdoor SD too) and no realistic 2 pair combos, and you might be crushing his weaker K. Pair and flush draw is unlikely unless V is limping with 32s. If he's got a set, well you're just going to get stacked.

Villain's raise is big but if he has a hand that he must call your flop 3 bet with, he may as well jam and maximize his FE.

I assume we don't have the Ac here.

I think we have to call it off here. It's going to be a set sometimes here, but much more often it's the NFD.

Do we realy want to stack off with one pair I this board texture? Even if you're ahead villain is still gonna hit his flush over 1/3 of the time. Not to mention the times he has 22 77 and the occasional k7. I say you let him have this one. If he's bluffing with a flush draw.well played, next hand.theres plenty of better spots to get it in

Snap fold with the Ac.

For sure.

I'm not convinced he plays all his sets this way, but it's common to see V's overjam the flop with a FD to be sure they see both cards.

Ultimately though it's a pretty marginal spot, so I wouldn't fault folding at all.

I didn't have the ace or king of clubs.

Villian showed AK with ace of clubs and king of hearts for a split pot.

Yeah having the Ac is bad for us here.

If you're not going to stack off with TP/TK and an SPR of 4 against a LAG, at least acknowledge it's because you're playing scared.

There really aren't going to be "plenty of better spots" to get a decent LAG's money.

wow I snap call , and having the A of clubs is a backdoor nut flush draw; this is not a bad thing; yea we block their nut flush draws but it adds equity to our hand

Yeah, posts that say fold here are way off base. It does not matter whether we have the Ac or not. We can consider blockers to help us decide what to do in tough/close spots, which this is not. It's a standard, sigh-call it off.

I feel there have been a lot of scared-money/nitty posts around here recently. You won't do well in this game if you're afraid to lose a buy-in, or even a few buy-ins per session.
