Hi all,

1/3. V is mid-20s woman who plays few hands pre and takes passive lines post. One hand she raised she checked dark and c/f. Seems like scared money (although she does know how to shuffle chips, fwiw). Also has headphones.

Hero raises $10 UTG with AKcc and gets three callers including V. V is effective stack with $250. Pot $40.

Flop: A-T-2r. Hero bets $20, two Vs call including her. Pot $100.

Turn: 7. Checks through.

River: T. V leads for $37. Hero?

Thanks,
DT

Preflop setup a smallish SPR of ~6 where we could get ourselves into uncomfortable commitment spots OOP postflop. I'd either (a) raise far larger or (b) limp (mostly to reraise).

Flop I'm either/or. I'm kinda cool with someone else driving the bus and underrepping on this fairly dry board, and we're fine with a street checking thru if we feel uncommitted (which we should be, imo). I certainly don't hate a small bet like we did, but it starts building a pot (something we shouldn't necessarily be pumped about).

I'm cool with the turn check. Even a small 1/2 PSB will leave us with < PSB for the river and get us in weird spots.

On the river for this price I'm happily calling as she can easily be value betting worse.

Bet the turn.

AP call. She probably has a T but AQ AJ etc. very possible after turn checks through and your pot odds are good.

So we are inbetween Vs? That makes the river a bit annoying, because there's now a way higher chance either one of them has a Tx hand, and we would hate getting raised by the last to act V2.

I still think I'm calling here, because we're somewhat underrepped and could be getting paid by AQ/AJ - the price is too good.

PS. not a big fan of the turn check.

Agree that the turn check is ill advised. As played standard call.
