Suggestions are justified. But why are people so dismissive of QQ, JJ, QJ, KQ? Sure, our range dominates villain's range. And even if we are behind, we have massive outs. Still.. please show me why I'm thinking in a distorted way compared to everyone here.

I don't think we're being dismissive of these hands at all.

For me, it all comes down to stacks. If we had like $10 left in this $215 pot, it's a pretty clear whatever shove. If we had like $1000 left in this $215 pot, it's a pretty clear check/evaluate.

But with just a PSB left we're in a really weird spot. We probably feel committed and can't fold to a shove (right, I think?) and would hate to give a free card if we're ahead (although how many free cards hurt us?), so we kinda just bite the bullet and go with it (unless we think a check will induce a worse hand / draw to shove). It's a tricky spot, imo.

Gotcha. I agree with the moves and bets suggested. I appreciate this fleshing out of the pot/stack consideration

I think by checking turn everything that beats you goes all in, so in some ways, youre sort of inevitibly getting it in worse here. I think youre right, basiclaly youre letting worse one pairs draw to 3 or 5 outers for no reason.

GG convinced me. Ship it.

But as a counterargument, how often do we really get called by worse?

Ha, do we ever actually get someone to fold better sometimes?

It's a weird spot, and just like in my HH, I'm not convinced it's a good play but I'm not convinced there's a better one either.

Reasonably often. PSBs look suspicious, particularly as an AI. With the clubs and straight draws villain may put us on a draw (which well we're on two + tptk) and call pretty light.

I don't know if we get better hands to fold but it's not always necessary when there's a ton of money in the pot and we have fold equity.

either check to induce/pot control or fire 95 - 150.

Pot is $215 and we only have $213 left. We're kinda past pot controlling at this point, and betting $150 would leave us with just $63 in a $515 pot. Even $95 leaves us with just $118 in a $405 pot.
