Ak right call? Ak right call?

Playing 2/5 no limit 200-500 buy in I have 1190 and Villian one has 660.
The Villian is a new player who raises a lot and never shows his cards. Action is a 10 dollar straddle button raise to 60 flat by the straddlet and I flat then Villian one flats
Flop comes 664 with two clubs and first to act bets 25 and I call because there is 250 in the pot other two people call the turn is the ace of diamonds so I bet 150 and he thinks and finally shoved for 400 more should I fold or call

Wait... this is a bit confusing to read, but did you originally call the straddle in early position? If so, the big mistake is not raising the straddle in the first place. With the call, I might be likely to 3bet btn, especially since we're OOP.

OTF and after, there's 4 players and you're second to act?

Turn is random. Player is new and has shown aggression, but w/out showdowns he might have been on a hot streak. Still, we're getting 3:1 so I might call. I think there's enough bluffs & weaker aces in range. Don't see why trips/fh would want to push out weaker hands.

I'm not sure where everybody is sitting here or the preflop action but it is a call on the shove. Somewhat crying call but it is another $250 to win $800. Without a strong read that villain never has AX or a semi-bluff you have to call given those odds.

I think there are only three players, straddler, V and hero, right? But then pot is wrong or there were a ton of limpers that folded pre flop. Confused. Also, if V was aggro like described, there is good chance he doesn't want a call here. I'm not folding AK, but I am worried if straddler is still sticking around....he could easily have a 6 or 44 or something that hits the board. If you call, he is shoving river for <$200....so only call if you want to call the shove or shove yourself either now or on the river.

I meant V, not straddler. Crap, now I'm as confusing as OP.

Check out the template in the stickies for how to post a hand... this is really hard to follow.

I guess the gist is that it's a raised pot preflop... very passive play on the flop and then a big unexpected raise OTT from an new aggro player.

Normally when players wake up OTT on dry boards with huge bets at this level - I'm worried about semi-slowplayed big hands. But in this hand - it's hard to put the villain on any big hands save 44. That's not a lot of combos and you say he's been aggro... so I'm thinking (with 800 in the pot) that you need to call off the rest...

Also, straddler should be acting before hero. Did he call or fold.....matters a ton.

idno what's going on pre but you should've opened/3 bet

do you have to call 400 more or is it 400 including the 150?

probably call then he could just be overplayed worse ax or ax with fd

My god this made my eyes bleed....reformat the hand and we can give solid advice from what it sounds like you might have missed a 3bet, can't tell from positions, and crying call the turn, hard to imagine him flopping gin and then just jamming....I'm calling, possibly....can't even tell what our pot odds are lol
