2/5 home game, is currently pretty shallow.

V1 (UTG)- tight passive. Has let his stack get down to $27, yes he hasn't shoved yet which is bad bad.
V2 (UTG+1)- loose passive super fish...very very bad, maybe the worst i've played with. $78 stack. Will call PF with very wide range and stick around with any piece.
Hero (CO)- $179. Winning reg, gets respect from the others. Just lost a big pot after AA got cracked by 44 flopping a set.
V3 (BTN)- ~$300. Decent player but is a gambler when big pots start to brew. Overall he's somewhere between LAG and TAG.

V1: Shoves for $27
V2: Calls ($51 behind lol)
Hero: looks down at AKo, makes it $77 to go
V3: Shoves all in (covers)
V2: Calls (no surprise here)
Hero: Calls

I 3b to get the btn out because he would come along with a wide range here and V2 would almost certainly call me for his last $51 which is what I wanted. Now that V3 4b all in and V2 called I've got 43% of my stack in and the side pot against V3 will be $204 so I only need to beat V3 to make money. I'm pretty sure I'm ahead here vs. everyone's range.

Also, when V3 shoved V2 made a comment about V3 trying to push him out to which V3 responded that he just "felt like gambling". In the past when V3 makes such comments he usually isn't lying and truly does have a mediocre holding.

I felt this was an easy call giving my commitment already and V's ranges plus only really needing to beat V3 to make money. Comments or question on thought process and play appreciated.

This may seem like a stupid question but i'm on a sick cooler lately and wanted to make sure I'm not tilting, especially since I had AA cracked like 10 minutes before this.

So you have AK 40 bbs deep 5 ways and you want to know if you should get it in.

Well, maybe not a stupid question, but the answer is pretty apparent. Yes, you get it in here..

Just shove over the first two villains. No reason to make it $77

I suppose that's the true question I'm after. Should I have just shoved pre instead of making it $77

Since you are not going to fold after popping to 77, I think a shove is better. You more strongly discourage action from the btn this way.

If you were 100 bb's deep then I think you could raise and still fold, but, with stacks as they are, you are never folding.

How often do you make it $77 behind 6 all ins and the other guy flats? FOr most v's, its pretty much never.

IMO, if the sole remaining live v wants to play, all the chips are getting in preflop one way or the other. Operationally, there just isnt a ton of differnece between shoving and 3xing.

So we've just 3! to 3x in a spot where its pretty much a certainty that we're going to show down with two other hands. How much more discouragement do you really think a shove provides?

Keep in mind that its practically impossible for for v3 to flat here.... if hes playin, hes probably going to get the rest of his stack in.... his all in raise would be effectively $100 into a 220 or so pot.
