I am C-betting this heads up 60-70 betsizerange. If called i am shoving on alot of turns, for sure if a spade rolls off, or if we hit top pair with either A or K. Q or a J can also be good turn cards, to put pressure/fold equity on medium pairs like A7 or 88.

Not sure if i like to blast off on any turn though.

I'd probably cbet small most times and check back others.

Villain calling range should be wider from the straddle, so let's go $40 to clean up random over card equity, planning to double barrel on spades, A/K/Q.

for those that like a c-bet if V pops you back what's your play

On this dry texture, I'd let it go, which is why I'd size small.

No, bet/folding flop for sure unless villain is a total spaz.

I can tell playing online is changing the way I think, because my first inclination was to check range on the flop lol.

I'd go $50-$60 pre and bet flop $35-$40. I'm definitely folding versus a raise.

curious to the c-bet/fold line

UTG straddled and is a 40yr old Asian

I would check call/ flop based on V desc

based purely on read of V and profiling his desc.

against an unknown I would c-bet $40-$50

as a V in this spot I raise the c-bet here 80% of the time if I caught any piece of this flop which is far more likely in my straddle defense range than SB raise range

Like sixseven mentioned, a C-bet is likely good just from cleaning up unpaired hand equity alone. Like getting all his KQ,QJ,AQ and so to fold flop. Most of the player population at low stakes underraises all streets, flop included so i am not concerned about being raised alot here-unless we are clearly beat.

Yeah reason I cbet here is because most villains defend straddles stupidly wide so we should have a large amount of equity against his range. I'd be less happy about it if I thought he had mostly pocket pairs.
