H is 20s WG, new to the table. This is my third hand. 200 stack.

V is older Chinese man.

Fold to V otb who makes it 6. Sb folds, H 25. V says something like "I was only playing g around" and calls.

KT8r (~50)

H bets 30. V asks how much H has and goes all in.

When he ships, pot is 255 with 145 for me to call. I don't feel like I can ever fold this if he can ever do this with Kx or QJ. Is this a standard call off? Or should I consider folding?

Older Asian guy? I expect to see aces here a lot. My experience is they don’t shove light.

Older Asian guys I play with 4-bet shove their AA pre flop.

Standard call IMO.

I block aces so he only has half the combos, plus I think he does 4! Shove a bunch (at which point I can just fold). But I feel like we're chopping a decent amount or even ahead of QJ. Sometimes he has TT or 88, but the question is whether he's ever doing this with worse than AK. I think against an unknown this has to be a call but I'm open to other arguments.

Call and expect to be behind fairly often, but absent reads that V is a nit we can't fold with this SPR.

I've seen this line from exactly no one with AA. Tiny open, flatting a 3b doesn't compute. Also don't expect it from KK either. Massive overbet discounts all sets in my opinion. Only real hand I'm concerned about is KT which you block a few combos of. I can see KQ doing this but more likely JQ,J9 just trying to blow you off it. Pretty trivial call here. Just strange as the board hits your range pretty hard but he's unlikely to be thinking on that level with a bet like this. KQ/J and AT are more interesting decisions but prob both calls as well.

I know this won't come as a galloping shock to anyone but he had TT and I didn't improve. Just wanted to get a gut check and make sure I didn't spew off my first buy in in under 5 min . Thanks

Snap call, not loving it, but for me there's no real thought needed.
