Hi people, lurked a while and want to use everything this forum has to offer so gotta start posting!

Sat at table for half hour before this, never played at this casino before but villain has been very active, 40-50yo albanian guy sat with a few chips and a lot of cash, playing about 75% of hands and close to 100% in single raised pots. Very emotional dude, banging tables and muttering aggressively after any hand he didnt win, which was most. No real reads but he seems very bad. Here's the one previous hand of any interest.

Random guy raises pre, villain calls and they see a flop of 778, bet, call. Turn K putting flush draw out, bet, call. River Q completing flush draw, check and villain checks back 57.

£.50/.50 with forced straddle. 9 handed

We are getting about 2:1 on our money, so villain needs to be bluffing here 33% ish of the time for our call to be profitable.

So the question we need to ask ourselves is... Is this the type of villain who can be bluffing here in this spot with a busted draw or complete air 33% of the time? And based on your description (and tell/read) the answer is yes.

So, this is one of the "rare" spots where a Hero call should be profitable.

No need to cbet so big. His range is inelastic.

River he might be clicking buttons and betting random small pair and we'd puke. So what if he's bluffing, his bluffing hand might have A high beat.

Fish's ranges are too wide and river bets are not as polar as a reg.

The only relevant hands I previously saw from him, he checked back a strong hand on the river. If he's doing that then what's he value betting here with this line? If he's bluffing how many bluffs beat us? I believe he is not good enough to turn some random pocket pair or any pair into a bluff here and if he is then is there still not enough combos of air that we beat to make this profitable?

V very rarely bluffs with a hand that beats AK here (check calls flop, if he's drawing, the 6 or 5 didn't hit him). Calling is fine.

After you check turn you look weak. When V pots river he can't expect you to call too often.
