Starting to play regularly again and realizing I may in fact suck. These are similar spots in that I flop huge and fold out multiple opponents. Feedback appreciated. OTTH's

Hand 1 - very early in session, no reads

OMC in MP opens to 10. Hero calls in LP with KsQs. Folds to BB, who calls. Pot $31.

Flop: K Q X hh

BB checks, OMC bets $23. Hero raises $65. Fold, fold.

Hand 2 - V1 is loose and bad. Has run up a decent stack by playing 80% of hands and winning big pots. V2 seems to be close friends with V1 but they've played pots against each other. Also plays lots of pots but not as much as V1. V3 is a standard MAWG, fairly TAG.

Hero is UTG, raises to $10 w/ AcTc. V1, V2, V3 all call. Pot $43.

Flop: 10h 9s 10s

Hero checks. V1 bets $20. V2 calls, V3 calls. I raise to $125. fold, fold, fold.

Hand 1: Meh. Raising flop is often over aggressive with top two because your blocking most of the hands that could play. But your multiway and it isn't a dry board so raising is OK here.

Hand 2: I would rather lead flop for $30 but a check/call or check/raise is a good option to mix things up. When there is a flop bet and 2 calls going with the check/raise every time. $125 is probably too much, $80/$100 probably works better.

In both cases stack sizes would matter. Particularly in hand 2 you are likely committing people to the pot if they call a flop raise that big. With that many people in the hand it's a good idea but you probably fold out everything except the other TX and 99.
