UTG- $85
Me-$200
Button has me covered

UTG raises to 15
I 3-bet to 45
Button calls
UTG shoves
I shove
Button calls

Did I do something wrong here? Perhaps UTG raising so large should have caused me to play slowly?

If anything larger raises tend to be slightly weaker hands like JJ that are afraid to get too much action. You played it fine. The first 3-bet is standard, as is the shove over his 4-bet. You really want to try and knock the button out of the pot so you can play against the UTG player with an overlay from the BTN.

I suspect a mod may edit out the results, so I'll put my comments in spoilers:

Spoiler:
This is a pretty standard cooler, although to run AK into both AA & KK as you did is pretty rare. I would've played it exactly the same.

Thank you. So are we supposed to put the results in spoilers?

In spoiler tags, or not at all. Knowing what they had can bias the advice.

For 100bb, I think this is just a cooler.

3-bet pre is fine, and then once button calls there is way too much money in the pot to be folding to UTG. AK is meant to be played agro pre.

I think it's going to be pretty hard to win at poker if you don't have any reads on your opponents. Even just knowing a player's age group can be super valuable in spots like this.

At what point do you guys think AKo is no longer okay to jam with? as far as blinds go.

Standard but Dream Crusher has a point.

At 100 BB effective this seems profitable as we have the hand with best removal against AA/KK and his 7x open is strong but we are ahead of most almost all opening ranges and our hand plays better against JJ when seeing all five cards if he shoves and we have to call. We also allow button to call our jam which is unlikely but we are definitely ahead of the button flatting our three bet. Some players may just flat AA as 4 betting seems so strong and folds out hands we beat but with stacks this size button has more AJ suited type hands in his range than AA and we crush those. He would now have to call $155 to win $485 and at that price he may call hands we crush and allow ourselves to win the side pot if UTG coolers us.
