1/2 NL Live.
I have a $300 stack and both villains in the hand cover.
2nd orbit, so no real reads.

2 limps to me and I am in the Hijack with AJ
I make it $13. Two calls, pot is 30ish.

Flop: J89
Two checks to me, I bet $20. Called quickly in one spot, other folds, heads up.

Turn: 2 After the quick call, most of the range I am giving him here is Pair plus straight draw hands, I bet $30, quickly called again.

River: 6He again quickly checks, my read hasn't changed and I go for some thin value on the river and bet $35 into $130 pot.

Thoughts? Did I get greedy, is this a two street of value hand?

Don’t mind it. However, raise bigger pre.

35 into 130 is weird, but readless at 1/2 I'm not worried about being exploited by Vill.

It's fine. You can get called by worse Jacks, stubborn 9s. Sometimes you'll wind up seeing 2pr/straight where vill got MUBsy and decided to never raise. Hard to see them having a flush given checking turn and river (though if you were raised on the river I'd revise that thinking given that 1/2 unknowns are c/raising a river without a weirdly played nutted hand almost never).

I guess you could bet bigger to get 2 prs and maybe some straights to fold - but would tend to go for thin value with TPTK vs turn into a bluff when readless at 1/2.

Thin value is an important part of a winning players’ winrate, and most players have a big leak in this department. With that said, I would never discourage people lightly from going for thin value but this spot might be too thin for me in a 1/2 game. Aa mentioned, players are super passive with 2p hands with a flush and straight board. I don’t think I’d go for thin value here. I don’t think there’s enough hands to extract it from on such a connected board since you’re really focusing on KJ, QJ, T9 and a few unconnected (maybe suited) J and 9 hands. I don’t have a problem with your sizing though. $35-40 is fine with a snap fold to a raise.
