Hello,
looking for some insight on this short stack play here. I think i wasn't out of line. I'm at a must move table so not many reads. everyone covers me.
I have about $60 remaining. The table only has 6 players. i open to 12 from MP with AJ offsuite to about 12$
Pot is ~$36
I get 2 callers 1 from the blinds 2nd from UTG. Flop is A89 offsuit. Since it was checked to me and im last to act i just jam the rest in. Old Ukrainian/Russian Gentlemen who called from the blinds calls with AQ. I lost
Am i not to play AJ like this at a short game and short stacked? or was this the right move.
