JJ Hand
Sitting at a pretty loose 1/2 table . UTG raises to 10 PF
(
Player has been on tilt, I play with him alot, extremely loose play. Hand strength determines his raise amount. Will 3-bet and 4-bet ship wide range A9+ KJ+).
Mid position player raises to 35
(
Player likes to repop A10+ hands but will flat big pocket pairs to a raise often).
I look down at JJ. I have 4 players left to act behind me. Is this a fold or should i make a sizeable raise and hope that UTG wants to gamble with his wide range
AA Hand
Aggressive 1/2 table with about 5 live regs. I pick up AA in mid and make it 14 to go. Button calls and BB calls. Both players are regs
(
Button player is deep with about 1400 in front of him. BB player has about 160 in front of him and I started the hand with a little over 300. BB has been pretty much only showing down made hands, not betting draws. Button will bet draws and will ship his flopped draws on smaller stacks.)
Flop comes Jd 9d 3c. BB Leads with a bet of 15.
This caught me a bit off guard as the only time he has lead out on a hand was with TPTK or when protecting against draws.
I elect to flat and the button comes along as well. Turn is a Qh. BB Leads out again 35. I'm not a fan of the Q mainly because of the buttons action behind me. I elect to call once again. Button follows suit. River is a Jc and BB ships all in.
What are my mistakes in this hand? I feel I definitely made one major mistake and compounded it but I want to see everyone else's opininon
