AA call it off?? 3 bet pot

Hero-twenty six years old playing tight , Asian called a few hands a little light where I called in all in with second pair. I just Won a big had where I called a 1/3 bet on the flop and turned the nuts. And stack two guys for 300+ . BB 320$

V- Indian kid he just three bet lightly I believe. He repoped an old guy to 30 from the btn after old guy raised to 10 and one call. Both Vs called.
Flop was KJ2 one guy went all in for 25 more and both V and old guy called turn brought J old guy bet 30 V called and than river was an 8 and old guy bet 30 and V folded. he won a big hand from me when he won with AQ hi vs my A2 flush draw and Q10 straight draw

Another head here is the 22 after six limpers and shipPed a KK2 flop vs 30$ stack and got called by JJ he showed Q10.

I'm in the big blind and villain in the hand raises the button to 12 I repop to 35 with AA

He cuts out about 150 looking like he's going to repop than flat calls .

Flop : J84 pot-75
I check he thinks for about 10 seconds than puts out 45, I call.

Turn J
I check to him one more street and that he thinks about another 10 seconds to ships all in for 170.
Hero????
V has only really shown down real hands except for those two spaz Bluffs with the AQhigh and Q10

Snap call.

This is a great flop for us.
He has JJ in his range on the flop, only 3 combos of that.
But he has 12 combos of KK/QQ and 2 or 3 of the nut flush draw.

Def get it in.

Easy call... But the only reason to check that flop is if you're planning to x/r.

Pre is good.

Flop: No reason to get all FPS. $50 c-bet please.

Turn: All-in.

As played, snap call.

Never folding.

Vs most villains just lead.

Leading is okay But I actually like your line vs this villain. I expect him to have called extremely wide. Also expect him 2 barrel most of his range. (Which majority misses).

C/Jam turn. Or in this case. Check/call his jam. Can also check/raise flop. But I think he is shown he likes to bluff, so we should allow him the chance.

Re: AA call it off?? 3 bet pot

Ok so I was actually the V in the hand and the hero was who I was against.

I had Qh9h, I had been pretty active after I 3 bet the hand to 30 and lost. So I probably looked kinda tilted so I thought when he re raised me I think he has some air in his range.

I thought when he checked to me he probably didn't have a big pair cause the board was kinda wet so I thought Forsure he would bet also I think 90% of the time people bet there big pairs there.

When he called I thought there was a chance he might have something but I planned to triple barrel on good run outs.

What do you think???

Re: AA call it off?? 3 bet pot

Honestly awful.

Pre- Button raise is fine, but fold to 3 bet

Flop: Little wet, but not super scary. check from 3 bettor is very odd. Doubt he is checking to give up on this flop though. But since we didn't flop any real equity, I am okay turning our hand into a bluff sometimes. But our image is shot, so we will almost always have to double barrel

Turn: Kinda hurts us. It is less likely we had a Jack now. Our opponent has shown he likes to call light. Think we should check back and hope we improve. Not sure we could even get a fold from AK, given this guy played for stacks with 2nd pair already. Definitely not folding 88, or 99+.

This hand went to hell as soon as you called 3 bet.

Launching huge turn bet was only prayer you have at winning hand.

3 spazz bluffs in 1 session. Better tighten up. Your fold equity has flown the coup, for rest of the session.

Re: AA call it off?? 3 bet pot

If you read my first post. I may even call with AK. As your range is super wide. Not repping much. I would probably call, hoping to have %15 equity if I was wrong. Only need to be correct 33%.

Can discount alot of Jacks. Doubt you shove with a Jack. Expect to see a ton of flush draws. Whole bunch of air.

'villain' played this really badly, starting with the extremely basic blunder of calling the 3bet pre.

Thanks for the feedback so the bluff actually worked and later the same guy got bluffed again and I asked him what he had he said he had AA against me

Congrats,
Why you call pre?
Why you decide to double barrel?

What do you think???
1. Reverse HH's are super annoying.
2. You are not getting 3!ed light at 1/2.
3. Triple barrel at 1/2 with ~ 100bb stacks in a 3-bet pot?? Good luck.

Re: AA call it off?? 3 bet pot

Very good players can call this pre and be profitable. I don't think you are that.

If you call be x/b turn and fold to turn bet. If he checks turn then you can try and bluff.

AP once he x/c he doesn't have AK he has QQ+ and you need to slow down. Yea you have more Jx but that doesn't matter he has an overpair.

Re: AA call it off?? 3 bet pot

Most of the feedback in this hand should tell you that it was a pretty bad bluff.
As most of the advice in the hand has been to call.

It might work against some of the population (scared money, nits) but not against most competent players.

Just food for thought.
