You played this one well. Nh. Not that tricky of a spot. He's got tons of potential bluffs (87/98/64/3x/5x...), so zero percent chance this is ever a fold vs remotely aggressive ppl.

raise more pre, i dont care what standard raise is, the reason you come to forums and read and ask for advice is to be better than the fish at 1/3, not the same. You picked up bad habits from them. Raise size should be $12+2 at least, and this sizing is a major leak.

as played, reraise flop. overly aggressive V is likely to have a draw, so even if he folds, you gain equity, and i bet he pushes here w Tx and flush draws so you can snap his ships even though he also has sets. Most good LAGs dont C/R with air, they have decent continuing equity and they dont like to face a 3 bet, they are banking on yiur passiveness.

The results you gave showed that your initial view of the villain is skewed.

You should absolutely be jamming vs this type of villain. If he has a set you have to pay him. Most LLSNL players do not play like this (they do not go nuts with top pair). By all means the biggest mistake in the hand is your pre flop raise - which is really really bad - and the reason you even made this post and what you should of been learning from the responses you got.

By all means - do not fold AA to this type of villain, but you need to describe him much better in the opening thread

With a clever player this might not be a set. They often act this way believing you have AK. It's exploitable to fold here but I think you're up against a set 50% of the time. the better a player he is the less likely a set is given the action. I don't like the spot and can't blame you for folding. I think a call--given his skills--is narrowly correct.
