Game:
Deep stacked 5/5 game. Most of the people at the table are very action players. Love to get involved in the pot. It's a must move game into a main game. Oscillating between 5 and 7 players depending who's on the wait list.
Everyone is sitting on 3k plus. I'm taking a shot at the game, and playing a SS strategy, so I'm in for $500 total. 4 out of every 5 hands are button straddled. (Except mine of course.) Most opening raises are $35-$40 in straddled pots, and $65-$85 in straddled pots. Currently table is 5 handed.

Villain: Likes action. Opens about 35% of pots. 3bets pre flop almost never except when a different super action V blind raises the straddle. Then he 3bets about 60% of hands. cbets 95% of hands. Fires the turn on about 40% of hands on the turn. Covers.

Hero: I've been dealt some pretty marginal holdings so far. So I've folded 19/20 hands so far. I called on min raise from the BB, and check folded the flop when I completely whiffed. Everyone knows that I'm not there to gamble is up like everyone else, I'm by far the tightest person at the table. $500

Hand:
Pre:
V opens in MP to $40
CO folds
Hero on the btn calls with A9
SB & BB fold

Flop ($90): 872
V bets $65
Hero calls

Turn ($220): K
V checks
Hero bets $100

wp.

3betting PF is certainly an option. My guess is that he will fold to our c-bet a high percentage of the time in a 3bet pot.

However, if you're taking a shot, I can understand why you're not 3betting here.
