Hero ($195): late 20s white reg. I know no players at the table. First hand I posted the BB and folded OTF.

Villain ($400): 50s well dressed old man. Looks like he plays a lot. Probably a winning reg with LP wealthy rec player tendencies.

2nd hand of the night.
2/5nl $200-$1000
Friday at 7pm.

Hero posts SB
MP unknown limps
Villain ($400) limps from HJ

I figured V has an A with a bad kicker or a SD that wouldn't call a turn bet. I decided to try to let him value own himself since I also didn't think V couldn't stand 3 streets with a bad ace.

River: ($79) Ad Js 8h 10h 9s
Villain bets $35 out of turn. This action stands unless action changes.

I'd really rather just lead the turn for value.
$30 or so given the draw heavy nature of the board.

River call seems fine, but really close.
If he's betting AQ/AJ/A9/KQs/QJ/A7/A8 I think we are getting the right price.

You only started hand with 40 bb so I think if your going to be playing A10 OOP and you hit your Ace, just play it fast on the flop then shove turn, 40bb poker basically just looking to gii and double up.

As played, ehh it's pretty close. I prob would call here but if I'm wrong I just spewed off almost 40% of my stack in this hand.
