Have you seen any of his showdowns when he bets when checked to? Is he really autobetting whenever checked to in every spot? How many times have you seen this?

I mean unless I have really good reason, I like c/f here

Why did you check? To induce a semibluff?

You provided no reads.

In general, I don't feel too good about flopping an overpair with 99 multiway in a bloated pot. I agree with value betting flop. We get value from hands like A8, straight draws and combo draws (pair/GS).

The J is a pretty crappy turn. It completes the most obvious OESD (although you have blockers), and it's not as good a barrel card as say a K, to fold out a hand like TT that may have flatted PF.

I don't see many hands inferior to 99 that can flat the flop and bet this turn into 2 players with no reads. If we call, the river will suck if he fires again unless a T hits.

I probably b/f turn in this spot.

I will also say that if many raised pots are going multiway to the flop, it is probably better to limp 99 UTG.

I'd c-bet less on the flop. Pot is $100, make it ~$60 to entice weaker hands to call. As played, turn is an easy fold, 9T just got there and I don't see villain betting into a multiway pot with much that you beat + you'll be OOP on the river.

Seems like a pretty big flop bet, you'll play against a stronger range for sure. I'd go ~65. His call with 2 left to act is pretty stong, depending on how he views you and other villains.

9T just got there. Yes we block this but there are still 8 combos, and aggro villains will play all the offsuit combos also.

How does he view you and the other villains?

I'd prob bet 65 on the flop, 160ish on the turn and fold to a raise.

As played, our hand is under repped and now we have the problem of wondering if he's making a move or turned the nuts.

Edit...guy RAH beat me too it....I'm a slow pony on my phone sometimes. He agrees and we practically said the same thing. Agree fold turn. He could easily have a JT type hand as well and peeled one with overs, a gutter and a backdoor flush draw.
